"Two flaws: there's a picture of cleavage on the back cover for like no reason. I wouldn't care but it's unprofessional to have in class. Second it doesn't include Kant's page numbers, which is super annoying when you're trying to quickly compare translations. Otherwise fine."

Kritik der reinen Vernunft German Edition Immanuel Kant Books Reviews
- Can't read
- Two flaws there's a picture of cleavage on the back cover for like no reason. I wouldn't care but it's unprofessional to have in class. Second it doesn't include Kant's page numbers, which is super annoying when you're trying to quickly compare translations. Otherwise fine.
- Just figure that you will return to the text time and again, year after year.
- good read
- Es ist sehr schwer, Kant zu lesen. Meiner Meinung nach ist er der Philosophiemeister aller Zeiten. Ich habe nur die Einleitung plus 20 Seiten gelesen, aber es war genug zu sehen, was Kant getan hat.
- If you do a "see inside" you see that this is not the Felix Meiner Edition it purports to be at all. What it in fact *is* is Bd. (Volume) IV of the Berlin Academy Edition, which supplies the "A" section of the Felix Meiner Edition. Obviously this is some sort of an Database mix up. I personally own both. But note that Ak. IV uses the old German characters which can be a bit annoying if you aren't used to them. If you want the convenience of both the First (A) edition (Ak. Bd. IV)and Second (B) edition (Ak. Bd. III) combined into one volume (868 pages in my copy) buy the Felix Meiner Verlag Edition from another posting. The ISBN of my own Felix Meiner Edition of 1990 is 3737810177. If I am mistaken that is the supposed ISBN of what is being sold here, but evidently not of what is being shipped. In other words, really needs to fix this.
- I assume that what Bobus says is true. I want merely to emphasize that what he says is alarming the absence of the second (or B) edition is a very serious deficiency in a publication of this work.
- This book only contains the text of the first edition (which lacks several chapters of the second edition), and comes naked without any ediotrial comments.
